In 2007, we selected Optimal Fixed Assets solution from Optima Group and the deployment started in 2008. As a result, we hope we will manage easily fixed assets and inventory items, while benefiting from the integration with with the accouting system (for depreciation). In the same time, we consider that it will be easier to monitor fixed assets transfers and we will have a near on-line view of the changes. The solution allows performing the inventory take process using bar code labels applied on objects, and mobile terminals for reading them. We have also managed to perform the inventory take through barcode labels (for all assets) and a mobile terminal that synchronizes the data with the server application, having thus the possibility of obtaining the specific depreciation reports in due time. The application is used both in the headquarters and in the branches, covering all the requirements of the fixed assets & inventories management activities. The results of Optimal Fixed Assets deployment were widely appreciated – our staff pointed out a decrease of the time spent for inventory take processes, and the whole management of the assets became much simpler." Due to the complex business and large number of products (over 20.000 products), we searched for a warehouse management solution that would successfully handle the specific needs of our fashion division. Optima Group responded to Genco requirements and designed a customized application that was deployed on 20 PDA mobile terminals (type Unitech PA600). This mobile solution is interfaced with a centralized server application and successfully responds to the following objectives: issuing of dispatch notes directly from the store handling of inventory procedures according to our own methodology generating of specific reports interfacing to the Charisma ERP solution
